Housing Assistance

Home Repair

Our Home Repair programs are designed to help low-income homeowners maintain and improve their housing situations, with the goal of keeping our neighborhood safe and affordable for years to come.

Home Repair & Façade Improvement Grants

SoWe offers two different grants to low-income families in the neighborhood to make repairs and improvements to their homes through the Home Repair and Façade Improvement programs. We can help with a wide variety of issues, including repairs to the interior of the home, such as HVAC systems & accessibility improvements, as well as to exterior of the home, such as porch repairs & sidewalks. Each household can qualify for a one-time $5,000 grant for each program (for a total of $10,000) that would be paid directly to the contractor(s) upon completion of the work.
Households must live in the Southwest neighborhood and earn less than 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) as outlined in the table. Please click the button to apply for more information and see if you qualify!
