Resident Leadership

Outstanding, involved neighbors are the backbone of supporting and improving our community! The people who live, work, play and own businesses here know our neighborhood best and we believe they are the best suited to help shape how our community grows! That’s why we work directly with residents and local stakeholders to support and fund their ideas for the neighborhood! See if SoWe can help you bring your community project to life.

Dream Big for Your Community

Are you a resident, non-profit, church, or business leader that has an idea for the neighborhood or your block? If you have an idea that builds community and connection, adds beauty, and/or addresses a concern – we are here to help bring it to life! We can provide one-on-one coaching, helpful connections, supplies and resources, marketing and volunteer recruitment, and possibly up to $500 in funding!

Projects can be on a one-time basis, annually, or ongoing.

If you already know the event, project or group you want to start – fill out our SoWe Project Proposal. Our Resident Leadership Committee will review your proposal and get in touch with you about next steps!
Not ready to write a proposal yet? Even if you just have a general idea or wish for the community, we want to hear it!

Please take a couple minutes to fill out our Resident Leadership Form and from there, we will set up a one-to-one meeting with Jacquie Morges, SoWe Communications and Engagement Manager, to create possibilities together!
